Due to reoccurring seizures, Joanne has been placed in a medically induced coma.
Continue to pray.
You never think that the friend you are sitting with, will have tragedy strike. You rarely speculate about what you would do if danger befalls someone you love.
And then, when it does, you are left confused and at a loss.
Sitting and having lunch with Jo, I would never have thought this would happen. Walking through antique marts with her, I wouldn't guess that these circumstances would touch her family. Never.
But they did.
It has.
And being in California, while my friend fights, in Colorado, breaks my heart.
So today...
be the light of the Lord.
think of others first.
speak softly to those around you.
hold tight to your friends.
reach out to those that hurt you.
think twice about your words.
share His love.
be the friend you know you should be.
go the extra mile.
you just never know.
But the Lord does.

Latest updates from Kristen (Jo's sister):
Her vitals were not great this morning and she met exclusively with doctors. However, another hospital update...God works quickly....vitals are getting back to normal....still pray against infection!
I was just with her telling her all sorts of random things......she moved a little bit for me!
Her daughters are outside having a snowball fight.
Please pray for the next 48 hours, that she has time to rest in quiet, so her body can try and heal itself.
